“Epiphany”...
is a Greek word from the New Testament meaning “to show, to make
known, to bring to light.” The
Early Church used the term to identify the visit of the Magi to
“see” the infant Jesus, born King of the Jews, and to describe the
season of the Church Year in which Jesus is shown to be God’s one and
only Son in his miracles and his teaching.
“Lutheran”... identifies our place in the one, Christian Church. We identify ourselves with The Lutheran Confessions as a summary of saving faith and Christian doctrine. The center of this faith is the principle that 'a person is saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ."
